Hi! Do rooms in The Contemporary have retractable clotheslines in the shower to dry wet clothes? Thanks.

Hi, Kimberly! We appreciate you taking the time to visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Mickey and I hEAR you have a vacation coming up in a few short days...how exciting!

You made an excellent decision to stay at Disney's Contemporary Resort! You can't beat the ten-minute walk to Magic Kingdom Park, which is the primary reason my family chooses to stay here time and time again. I also love that this mid-century modern resort has lots of Disney touches, including that famous 90-foot-tall mural in the Grand Canyon Concourse by Disney Legend Mary Blair; look for the blue 5-legged goat as you're waiting for the monorail!

I'm happy to report that all the guest rooms here have one of those nifty retractable clotheslines in the shower. We like to return to our resort mid-day after lunch to relax, and this gadget has proven invaluable after our many swims in the Feature Pool. My Mouseketkeers like the 17-foot-high, curving waterslide, but this weary mom much prefers the hot tub.

We recently returned from our stay at Disney's Contemporary Resort, and I'm already missing my "home away from home." One of my favorite things that I must do on every trip is to watch the Electrical Water Pageant, which passes by the resort on the Seven Seas Lagoon nightly beginning at 10:10 PM. This is Disney nostalgia at its best!

I hope you have a magical time, Kimberly! See ya' real soon!
