    Hi, We have rooms booked at the Beach Club for mid-October. And now my brother and his family are interested in coming. But there are no rooms at any of the Epcot area hotels. Is there an event going on or does Disney hold rooms to release later? Thanks!

    How nice to plan a vacation with your brother and his family! My family loves when we travel to Walt Disney World with our extended family.

    October is a very popular month to vacation at the Walt Disney World Resorts. With the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival as well as Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, guests have two additional reasons to visit. In addition, the weather is perfect as the humidity is almost gone.

    While guests are always free to change their minds, Disney does not hold rooms. You can keep checking to see if a room becomes available. If you can not find a room at an Epcot resort, try a Magic Kingdom resort as it would be easy to connect using the monorail.
