Happily Ever After from your room is high on your wish list, you'll want to book a Theme Park View room at the Polynesian Resort. While some Water View rooms may offer glimpses of the fireworks, those views are not guaranteed. If having a direct view of Cinderella Castle and the nighttime spectacular is important to you, the Theme Park View category is definitely the way to go.
That said, one of the things I love most about the Polynesian is that there are several fantastic spots around the resort to enjoy the fireworks without ever stepping foot in Magic Kingdom. On a recent visit with some of my fellow planDisney panelists, we enjoyed dinner at
Kona Café and then made our way to the boat dock, where we found a wonderful, less-crowded viewing location. The resort's beach is another guest favorite, offering beautiful views across Seven Seas Lagoon. The fireworks soundtrack is even piped into the area, making the experience feel extra magical.
Another option is to schedule an
Advance Dining Reservation at
'Ohana around fireworks time. While seating requests can never be guaranteed, a table near the windows can provide a memorable view while you enjoy a delicious meal.
