Hey there, Christina! Thanks for stopping by with your question about the grooviest place to stay during a Walt Disney World Resort vacation,
Disney's Pop Century Resort!
Disney's Pop Century Resort is my favorite
Value Resort Hotel, and the top reason is access to the
Disney Skyliner. The Disney Skyliner makes it so quick and easy to travel to Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. Rooms at this resort were completely renovated a couple of years ago, and I am a huge fan of the clean, modern design. There are plenty of shelves and storage cubbies, great lighting, and lots of outlets and USB ports for charging all your devices.
While there are a small number of rooms with 1 king bed, the vast majority of rooms at Disney's Pop Century Resort sleep up to 4 adults with 1 queen bed and 1 queen-size table bed. This innovative pull-down bed is a space-saving table by day, and a bed with the same comfy queen mattress as the standard bed by night. None of the rooms at Disney's Pop Century Resort include a couch.
If you'd like a room with 2 beds and a couch, standard rooms at most
Deluxe Resort Hotels include 2 queen beds and a daybed. Another option would be 2-room Family Suites. Family Suites at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort, just across Generation Gap Bridge from Pop Century, include 1 queen bed in a separate bedroom, with 1 double-size table bed and 1 double-size sleeper sofa in the living area. Family Suites at
Disney's All-Star Music Resort have 1 queen bed in the bedroom, and 2 queen-size pull-down beds in the living area: 1 table bed, and 1 sofa bed. Some
Deluxe Villa accommodations would also provide 2 beds and a couch.
Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort include a queen bed and bunk beds in the bedroom, and a double-size sleeper sofa in the living area.
Christina, if you have any additional questions, please stop by and see us again. We are always happy to help!
