Which rooms at Art of Animation are pet friendly? Is is just the suites? Need to know for budgeting our trip.

Hot dog, Leonard, and welcome to planDisney! I'm an animal lover, too, so I'm glad you're planning to bring your furry family member to Walt Disney World Resort next month. Like Mickey Mouse would never leave home without Pluto, many guests enjoy knowing their precious pooches are nearby on vacation. And Disney's Art of Animation Resort is one of my favorites! The theming is fun and larger-than-life, and the Disney Skyliner is one of the best ways to travel around the theme barks....I mean, parks!

Currently, dogs are the only furry friends allowed to stay at designated Disney Resort Hotels, so I'm assuming you're inquiring about accommodations for your pup. At Art of Animation Resort, I'm happy to tell you that all room categories offer pet-friendly rooms, so you could book a standard Little Mermaid room or a Family Suite. I'd suggest you call (407) 939-7539 to speak to a friendly Cast Member to secure a pet-friendly room. There's an additional fee per pet and a limit of two dogs per room. You can check out the complete list of pet policies before you arrive to ensure your canine pal is ready.

A final tip I'd like to share is that while you're at the theme parks, you can drop off your canine companion at Best Friends Pet Hotel, located on Walt Disney World property. They offer playgroups and walking adventures during the day, so your favorite furball can enjoy his vacation, too!

Leonard, I hope your upcoming visit is practically paw-fect! Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
