Hiya, Suzanne! Welcome to planDisney. We're happy to help you with your great planning question!

It sounds like you're getting ready to visit Walt Disney World Resort and I couldn't be more excited for you! The summer months at The Most Magical Place on Earth mean you can maximize your time together, whether it's in the parks or relaxing at your resort pool. But before we can get you standing in front of Cinderella Castle, let's talk about booking your vacation package!

I'm happy to let you know that you can easily book vacation packages and compare rates online! To do this, head to the Walt Disney World Resort homepage. Here, you'll be able to enter your dates, Guests, and desired Disney Resorts Collection hotel for your first room. Since availability can be limited, I'd recommend looking as far out as your dates will allow first. Continue by selecting what room type you're looking for, as well as the ticket type. This should help you get an estimated idea of the cost of one room. You can continue to tweak your dates and refresh your search to view the updated availability and pricing.

While I would typically suggest that Guests book their hotels online, in your situation, I would recommend calling a Cast Member for more assistance when you're ready to book. Since your anticipated trip is very soon and you're looking for two available rooms at longer lengths of stay, speaking to a Cast Member will be a great way to know which options are available to you and the other Guests in your travel party. Because of this, I'd suggest calling a Cast Member at your earliest convenience! Try to have as many details as you can handy, such as all of your Guests' information, specific desired dates, and your My Disney Experience information. Once your vacation packages are booked, be sure that you've made your theme park reservations with the Disney Park Pass system! This is an important step to reserve the parks you'd like to visit on each day of your trip.

Before you arrive, take some time to download and explore the My Disney Experience app! This app feels a little like holding a magic wand in your hand, allowing you to get the most out of your magical vacation. You'll be able to check wait times for attractions, access virtual queues, and mobile order food. This is a great way to minimize waits and maximize the fun! And if you have any other planning questions, please write to us again. You can also check out the Disney Parks Blog or tune into the planDisney Podcast, where panelists (who are Guests, just like you!) share their best tips and personal advice!

    Magic awaits!
