My Room Type shows Resort View. What does Details: RSRRoom mean on my hotel reservation for the Polynesian?

Aloha, Ashley, and welcome to planDisney! How exciting you're answering the call where the sky meets the sea because Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is a fantastic place to stay during your Walt Disney World Resort visit. I recently spent time at this resort to have dinner at Kona Cafe and watch the July 4 fireworks over Magic Kingdom Park. To say it was magical doesn't begin to cover it! So, let's talk about your reservation for your upcoming visit.

I spoke to a hula-skirt-wearing Cast Member who said that the code you see is used internally to indicate your room type or any promotions that might apply. As long as you booked a Resort View, and that's what it's showing, you should be good to go. If you feel anything is amiss with your resort reservation or have questions about it, please call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations, and they'll be happy to help you "hang loose!"

Ashley, I hope you can take advantage of the extra 30 minutes resort guests have before the theme parks open. You'll have quick access to Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT by using the monorail, and I use those precious minutes to experience a favorite attraction and take some photos before the crowds arrive. I'm not sure of your trip dates, but as a guest of a Deluxe Resort, you'll also have Extended Evening Theme Park Hours at select parks on certain nights. Check out the calendar because those hours can be "Cowabunga, dude!"

I hope you can hang ten on your upcoming visit, Ashley. Please stop by planDisney anytime because we love to help. We work hard so guests can "lei" around and relax!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
