Is there room to store luggage under the bed at the all Star sports resort?

Hi, Nakeisha! Room modifications and updates are currently being made at a few Disney Resort Hotels. One of my favorite modifications is the one being done at Disney Value Resorts. I have stayed at Disney’s Pop Century Resort several times since they completed their renovations and I have to say, it made for a pretty magical enhancement!

You may have seen on the internet guests sharing pictures of their updated rooms, which includes the removal of carpet from the floor and the addition of elevated beds with an open area underneath. That open area does allow for luggage to be stored, freeing up a bit of space in the room. At this time, the only Disney Value Resorts that have these enhanced rooms are Disney’s Pop Century Resort and most of Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort. Once the latter resort finishes its updates, I have been told that Disney’s All-Star Music Resort is next. Since these room renovations are quite an undertaking, it does take a good bit of time to complete a whole resort and move on to the next. I am not sure when you are planning your trip, so I cannot say for sure if the guest rooms at Disney’s All-Star Sports will be pixie-dusted before your arrival. Also, Madame Leota, with the help of her crystal ball, is the only one who knows for sure if and when this resort could even be on the list to receive updates.

If you want to be assured of having one of the updated rooms, then I recommend you look at Disney’s Pop Century Resort. The room enhancements really made the room feel larger and more spacious, so I feel like this is a great choice to make when planning our trips. Plus, the Disney Skyliner is now open, providing another transportation option to guests of this resort.

I hope this information helps you plan your upcoming visit! Thanks for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions!
