Hi, I have a Room reserved in AKL was for two adults and two child but a grandmother and a grandfather might want to join last minute. The room have 1 queen bed and 1 bunkbed, since the room has already 3 beds, can the 6 stay un the same room?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Ana Beatriz! I’m excited to know that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort this coming June! Thanks for stopping by with your question.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is a beautiful place to stay! I loved soaking in the beautiful view from the terraces at this picturesque resort, first thing in the morning during my last visit there. I’m sure your family will want to enjoy lots of time at the Samawati Springs Pool. The water slide is amazing!

While you will find your Disney Resort hotel room to be spacious and comfortable, it may be tight when you add abuelo and abuela to the equation. Your room provides a bed for four people and you would not be allowed to add two more guests to your reservation, because it would be considered over the room's capacity for guests.

You can always call your resort now to modify your reservation to a one-bedroom suite. That would give you room for six, with two queen-sized beds and a queen-sized pull-out couch for the children to share. I suggest calling (407) 938-3000 to speak to a Resort Reservation Specialist. They will be more than happy to help you book a larger room!

Another option could be to book another standard room and request connecting rooms. This means that your rooms would have a door in between them that would allow you and your family to stay together and have access to both rooms.

Ana Beatriz, don’t hesitate to come back to see us here or at Disney Parks Moms Panel en Español if you need any more planning advice. Helping you with the details of your next visit is our pleasure!
