    If I make room reservation at Grand Californian hotel and buy 2-day park hopper passes for family, do I need to wait to try to make a theme park reservation?

I am so glad that you brought your vacation question here, and it would be my pleasure to help you with an answer. How exciting for you to be planning a visit to Disneyland Resort now that it has begun the phased reopening process. 

    Booking a vacation package with a stay at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and 2-day Park Hopper theme park tickets sounds absolutely magical. Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park have reopened with significantly limited capacity to comply with governmental requirements and promote physical distancing. All Guests must obtain a theme park reservation through the new theme park reservation system in advance. 

    Theme park reservations are currently available around 60 days in advance, so you will have to wait until the dates you plan to visit become available. I highly recommend keeping an eye on the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to see when you can start making your theme park reservations. At this time, only California residents may visit the parks, and proof of residency may be required.
