    We have a room only res for 1 night, then a pkg res for 7 nights. Will we get 2 sets of magic bands or just one? Don't really feel the need for 2 each. Thanks!

    How exciting that you're planning EIGHT wonderful nights at the Walt Disney World Resort...and during my very favorite time of the year, too! You're going to LOVE visiting during the holiday season and will surely head back home with memories to cherish for years to come and hearts full of Christmas joy.

    Since the system will recognize your split stay as two different Disney Resort hotel reservations, you will be eligible for two sets of complimentary MagicBands. If you'd like to choose different colors or styles for each member of your party, it can be fun to change MagicBands depending on the park you'll be visiting, color of your outfit, or just your Disney mood for the day, but if you don't want an entire second set of MagicBands, you'll have the option to decline them during the online check-in process. Once you pull up your plans within your My Disney Experience account, you'll see the option to skip the front desk and begin the online check-in process right below your Disney Resort hotel. Once you click that option, you should notice both Disney Resort hotel stays pop up. Feel free to choose either one of them and you'll see a couple quick and easy steps with "MagicBand Order" being one of them. Please feel free to click the box that says, "I wish to decline new MagicBands for my party." By choosing this option for one of your stays, you'll only receive the MagicBands you've customized for the other stay.

    Don't forget when you're customizing MagicBands that if you do so at least 11 days before your arrival, they'll be mailed to your home before you head out on your trip. If you do so 6 - 10 days before check-in, they'll be waiting there for you when you arrive, and if you forget to do so or log in 5 days or less before your check-in, you'll still receive complimentary MagicBands, but they won't be customized.
