Greetings, Amanda, and welcome to planDisney! To paraphrase Princess Anna, it's almost arrival day! Walt Disney World Resort will be opening up the gates for you soon, so let's talk about keeping things
Frozen, or at least pretty cold, while you're here.
Depending on which Disney Resort Hotel you'll call home during your stay, you might have a beverage cooler in your room. These handy coolers are perfect for keeping drinks and fruit chilled, but they typically aren't recommended for keeping medical supplies or dairy items cold.
You can
check this resort list to see what type of refrigerator your room will have. If you'd like to request an actual mini-fridge, I recommend calling the
Tickets and Hotel Reservations line before you arrive. The Cast Members can make a note on your reservation because mini-fridges are available on a first-come, first-served basis. I'd also suggest you stop by the Front Desk as soon as you arrive to reiterate the request; it can't hurt!
If you're unable to secure a mini-fridge, and your room doesn't come with one, you can also ask
Bell Services to store specific items for you. Let them know if it's for medical or other needs, and they'll do their best to work out a solution!
My friends and I have used
grocery delivery services on our last few visits, and it's been a game changer! The delivery company leaves our order with Bell Services, who will refrigerate it for us until we pick it up. You can also ask Bell Services to bring them to your room for a small fee. I love having soft drinks, snacks, and fruit waiting for us when we come in from a busy day at the park. It's magical!
Amanda, I hope your upcoming visit is full of eight thousand salad plates and more! Please stop by
planDisney anytime; we think guests like you are worth melting for.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
