    We want to have a romantic dinner at California Grill for our anniversary and see the sunset or the fireworks at magic kingdom. Do I need to purchase park admission tickets to get to the restaurant? What time do you think I should reserve the table?

    Hi, Elisa! The Contemporary is within walking distance of the Magic Kingdom, but you don't need a  theme park ticket to dine there.  Since California Grill is located at the top of the Contemporary Resort, entrance to the Magic Kingdom doesn't influence your dining at all.  I would try to get your reservation for about an hour before Wishes Nighttime Spectacular is scheduled.  The restaurant dims the lights and pipes in the Wishes soundtrack, so you can enjoy the show right from your table, or, if the weather cooperates, you can step outside and watch from the observation deck. Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
