Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question. Terresia, I will be happy to get you some clarification on this topic to make sure you have no worries heading into your upcoming visit.
The
Walt Disney World Resort is a place where accessibility is at the forefront of each day. It truly starts from the moment you arrive, from the moment your vehicle enters the parking lot, to when you arrive at each of the parks. You will be happy to hear that all of the attractions are not only going to be able to accommodate your rolling walker, but they will also accommodate wheelchairs and ECVs. Once you get to the boarding area of the attraction a Cast Member will take your walker and will magically appear at the exit of the attraction.
There is a good amount of walking when visiting the parks, and lots of folks use different ways to get around. If for some case you need a break one of the days you can
rent wheelchairs or ECVs available at the entry of each park. They are available as a daily rental or length of stay rental. Some even use a combination, so don't hesitate to use multiple support options if they are needed. If you decide to rent and take a mid-day break be sure to mention to the Cast Member that you are returning and your rental will be there when you come back to the park. If you enjoyed a nighttime spectacular like
Happily Ever After at
Magic Kingdom Park, might I recommend waiting out the crowds on a bench and engage in one of my favorite park activities. People watching is so fun, to see families recounting the show as they pass by is very rewarding. I really enjoy it because at the end of the day you get to rest those dogs while the crowds head to the exits.
I hope you find this information helpful for this upcoming visit. If you have any other questions you still have time to submit another question to us at
