Hey Howdy Hey Regina,
Welcome back to planDisney. One of the many things I love about vacationing at
Walt Disney World Resort is how easy it is to get around. There are a number of complimentary transportation options to get you just about anywhere you need to go. This means no one has to worry about traffic, directions or remembering where the car was parked.
Depending on what
Disney Resorts Collection hotel you are staying at and where you are headed, your Disney Transportation options will include a bus, monorail, skyliner or a boat. Great news - there are a number of resorts where you can still enjoy a relaxing boat ride or water taxi to bring you back and forth to the resort and select theme parks or Disney Springs.
Watercraft transportation options include the
Magic Kingdom resorts offering a water taxi to Magic Kingdom, the
EPCOT area Deluxe resorts to
EPCOT and
Disney's Hollywood Studios, and four resorts ( Disney's Old Key West Resort, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, Disney's Port Orleans Resort, both Riverside and French Quarter) that connect to
Disney Springs.
Don't forget, if you select a resort that does not utilize a boat option, you can still "sail away" if you are resort hopping or heading to dinner at one of the resorts that has a boat dock. One of our favorite things to do is use the boat if we are park hopping from Disney's Hollywood Studios to EPCOT. We find it a great way to relax for a little while before hitting the next theme park.
I hope this helps get you on your way. If I can help with any additional planning question, please stop back and
see me.
T-T-F-N (Ta-Ta for now),
Margaret
