Yee-HAW, Teresa, and welcome to the wildest panel in the wilderness! planDisney is here to help guests have a rootin' tootin' good time, so I'm glad you found us. I applaud you for circling the wagons and planning for your upcoming trip, so let's saddle up and talk about dining at
Disney's Wilderness Lodge.
With so many delectable vittles at this resort, I'm not sure which restaurant you're referring to. So, we'll cover a couple, just in case.
Roaring Fork is the quick-service dining hall at Wilderness Lodge. While the gorgeous decor looks like a rustic National Park lodge, there's typically no entertainment. The
Focaccia Caprese sandwich looks amazing; let me know if you try it. I'm a vegetarian, so I'm always on the lookout for options.
You might be thinking of
Whispering Canyon Cafe, located near the Wilderness Lodge lobby. This family-style restaurant has some
yummy dishes to share, and the sassy servers make the experience a real hootenanny. Don't forget to ask for extra ketchup! And that's all I'll say about that. But I can assure you, it's a hoedown you'll never forget!
Before I let you go, I want to mention one of my all-time favorite western-themed dining experiences at Walt Disney World Resort.
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is a fast-paced dinner show sure to please. My husband and I laughed and ate so much that our tummies hurt. I've also dined here with friends, and it's always a different show. Don't be surprised if you're asked to "toot" your own horn!
Teresa, I hope you'll giddy-up to some fantastic eats on your upcoming visit! Make your reservations
60 days in advance, and come hungry wherever you decide to go. Please stop by
planDisney anytime, partner!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
