We’ll be at the Riviera resort next week and need both the bed and pull down bed. Are they still out of service? I called the main WDW# but she hadn’t even heard about the issue. Is there a way to go around the call center and contact the resort directly?

    Ciao Sandra,

Benvenuto a la Disney Park Moms Panel! You are in for such a treat when you stay at Disney’s Riviera Resort! Walt Disney’s travels through the Riviera and the Mediterranean inspired the Resort, and I am so excited that you are about to experience the gorgeous theming, fantastic convenience, and incredible food.

My few of my fabulous fellow panelists stayed at the Resort last month. From all of their pictures, videos, and Instastories, I think I have the Deluxe Studios and Villas memorized! I’m especially taken with the hidden pulldown beds! Just a bit of pixie dust, and poof - the room turns from a sitting room to a bedroom! I wanted to make sure that all was well in the Mediterranean, so I just finished chatting with Member Services. They assured me that all aspects of the rooms are fully functional, including the beds.

Sandra, have you had a chance to virtually tour the rooms yet? I could spend an hour browsing the room and amenities. Depending on which Villa you choose, you will have either a kitchenette or full kitchen, stocked with a coffee maker, and full coffee service. If you are staying in a 1-Bedroom Villa or larger, you will also have a washer and dryer, which is my favorite “amenity” while traveling with the littles!

When you venture outside of your room, make sure to have a meal at the crown jewel of the Resort - Topolino’s Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera. The new, signature table-service features authentic French and Italian dishes with an incredible view of both Epcot’s and Disney’s Hollywood Studios’ nighttime spectaculars! The friends I mentioned EARlier had the BEST breakfast with some favorite Disney Pals and said it was the highlight of their trip!

Last tip, Sandra - pay attention to the signature art in your Villa and throughout the Resort. Disney Imagineers have created fantastic pieces reminiscent of the 19th and 20th-century masters with a Disney twist. I can’t wait to see “Still Life with Teapot” in person!

    Saluti!
