What is a riverside royal guest room ?

    Patricia,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

Oh my goodness, where to start? Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside has always been a fan favorite resort, with the beautiful grounds, central location, and wide array of amenities. I love staying at the Port Orleans resorts for their boat access to Disney Springs.

But recently Princess Tiana needed to create some special accommodations for her royal visitors, and transformed a few of the resort's rooms to Royal Guest Rooms. Now these are rooms saved only for royal guests, so I assume you are royalty, yes? (Frankly, everyone visiting Walt Disney World is a royal guest, so you are good to go!).

The rooms come decorated with touches that speak to so many of the princesses. I won't give them all away, but Jasmine might find the carpeting and the sink faucets familiar, portraits of many of Tiana's royal friends adorn the walls, and the headboards have a touch of magic in them! The Disney Parks YouTube page has a preview of these rooms you might find enchanting.

You can select these rooms when you book your Walt Disney World vacation, as you will see them as options on the Port Orleans Riverside Room Rates page. There is no doubt that they are going to make any princess-in-training's trip that extra bit more special!

    BONUS TIP
When Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Disney Springs reopens it could be the perfect place to get any junior princess ready for her royal accommodations. Keep checking to see if it is open in time for your visit!

Have a Magical (and Royal) Vacation!
