Hi Courtney,
Mmm...just thinking about the delicious nachos at
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe has my mouth watering! They're SO good! I feel like the
regular portions of nachos are rather large; I can't imagine how huge the Nachos Rio Grande were! While I never got to try this fun secret menu item, my friend and fellow Panelist Diane did, and she
shared all about her experience here.
You may gather from my use of the past tense that the Nachos Rio Grand Challenge is no longer available. Sadly, they were discontinued in the fall of 2017, but we can all certainly wish upon a star that something fun like that would come along again. In the meantime, you'll still find LOTS of
delicious eats at Magic Kingdom Park! If you're in the mood for some sort of challenge, The Disney Food Blog came up with another fun idea...the Mickey-shaped food challenge. How many different foods can you eat that resemble our favorite Mouse?! Of course, much like snacking around the world at
Epcot, you could try to find a different food from each of the six lands within
Magic Kingdom Park. Or for a non-food challenge, why not see who can find the most hidden Mickeys (shapes that look like Mickey Mouse's head that are hidden all over the Walt Disney World Resort) or pose for photos with the most characters? From dining to attractions to character interactions to appreciating the small details, there are more opportunities for magic and fun than we can even imagine!
Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Courtney, and please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning your trip. I hope that you have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation this
fall!
Missy
