What rides require a shoulder strAp/harness- my husband has a chemo port and the harness would bang into it

    Hello Mary!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with such a great question.   My mother also visited Walt Disney World when she had a chemotherapy port in place so I can understand your concern.  I am happy to help guide you as to which rides will not bump around on the port.   We want you and your husband to have the most magical vacation possible.

A few rides at Walt Disney World do have shoulder restraints or harnesses.  These rides are Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith ,  Stitch's Great Escape!  (which is open seasonally) and Mission: SPACE.   Test Track does have a lap belt in the center seat on each vehicle while they have a regular shoulder harness strap on the outer seats.  These are much like those you would find in your own vehicle.   If you have more questions about attraction seating and any accommodations your husband may need during your trip,  please stop by a Guest Relations location once you arrive.

I hope this has helped.  Please enjoy your trip and if we can be of help in the future please let us know.  It's always a pleasure to assist a fellow Guest.
