What rides in the magic kingdom can you carry an infant on

    Hello Suzanne!

Welcome to planDisney! The Magic Kingdom is full of attractions that are safe and fun for little ones! As the mother of four, our younger kiddos took early visits to the Walt Disney World Resort with their older siblings. My youngest had two visits with me while I was pregnant, and then her first visit when she was 4 months old. Little ones make easy traveling companions as they don’t complain, they don’t ask you to buy them things, and they are fairly portable!

As a general rule, any attraction that does not have a height requirement will allow you to carry an infant in your lap. Magic Kingdom would be the park with the largest number of attractions that fit this guideline. While not exhaustive, here is a list of some of the attractions your little one may enjoy from your lap:

    Peter Pan’s Flight
    it’s a small world
    Dumbo the Flying Elephant
    Mad Tea Party
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid
    Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
    Jungle Cruise
    The Magic Carpets of Aladdin
    The Haunted Mansion
    Pirates of the Caribbean
    Mickey’s Philharmagic

Be sure to stop and take lots of photos of your little one’s day! Look for Disney’s PhotoPass Photographers so you and your little one can be in the photos together! And if you find yourself in need of a quiet space for a baby to eat, a changing table, or require baby items, be sure to visit the Baby Care Center located to the left of the Crystal Palace. I’ll attach a video from one of my fellow Panelists that highlights some of the features of the Baby Care Centers so you can get a better idea of what they offer.

Wishing you and your little Mousketeer a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
