What rides should we avoid for a 6 year old? We want to go on as many as possible with our 8 and 10 year old, but am a little concerned about any that would be too scary or fast for a 6 year old.

    Amy,

So this is a common concern. As you can imagine, it is impossible to know what exactly your 6-year old will, and will not enjoy, without knowing him/her better. As a rule, most attractions should be fine if they are tall enough to ride them. However, here are a few that I would think twice about before riding.

    • Magic Kingdom: Stitch's Great Escape
    • Epcot: Mission: SPACE
    • Hollywood Studios: Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith
    • Animal Kingdom: Expedition Everest, DINOSAUR
My 4 and 6 year olds were pretty good with everything else. Even Big Thunder Mountain Railroad was not too fast or scary for my girls.

What I would suggest you do is consider these, and if you have these or others that you want to ask specifically about, write me back from my bio page and I can tell you how my little ones did on them.

    Have a magical vacation!
