Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure Park is one of the most fun special ticketed events I have ever attended! I went for the first time last year and had such a blast that I already have my ticket, and my costume, ready for this year!
I'm happy to report that many attractions remain open during Oogie Boogie Bash, which makes it easy to balance all the spooky fun throughout the evening. Last year, my party would visit a few
Treat Trails, hop on some favorite attractions, and then head back to meet a Disney Villain on another Treat Trail. It was the perfect mix of thrills, treats, and entertainment!
One of my favorite experiences was
Villains Grove. The Redwood Creek Challenge Trail is magically transformed into an enchanting and eerie walkthrough filled with lights, music, special effects, and some wonderfully wicked surprises. I highly recommend making time for it because I found it completely spellbinding!
Another great perk is that your Oogie Boogie Bash ticket allows you to enter Disney California Adventure Park as early as 3:00 PM for the party mix-in before the event officially begins. That gives you a few extra hours to enjoy attractions, grab a bite to eat, or take in the park atmosphere before all the Halloween magic unfolds.
Once the party officially starts at 6:00 PM, unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos taken during the event are included with your ticket. Be sure to stop for character photos and special Halloween-themed photo opportunities. Some of my favorite souvenirs from the night were the photos we captured throughout the party!
You'll also want to keep an eye out for the new
Madam Leota's Swinging Wake offering, inspired by the beloved medium from Haunted Mansion. It adds another delightfully spooky layer to an already incredible evening, and I am very excited to experience it!
And here's a bonus tip from a fellow candy collector: bring a larger treat bag! The treat trails are incredibly generous, and you'll leave with far more candy and goodies than you ever imagined. I was amazed at how quickly my bag filled up throughout the night!
