Hiya Meridith,
Welcome to planDisney. I am so glad you stopped by! It has been a little while since my gang was under 35". Your question takes me back to the days of strollers, snack boxes and security blankets. My boys have been visiting Walt Disney World since they were infants, with the earliest visit at 8 weeks. While I am sure they do not remember their first trip, I sure do! One of the great things about a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation is guests of all ages and abilities can enjoy the theme parks and resorts.
You will be thrilled to hear there are so many attractions your little one will be able to enjoy now. Walt Disney World's attractions are full of bright colors, whimsical music and loveable Disney friends. Most attractions are slow moving rides with seats that easily accommodate parents and toddlers side by side. While all four theme parks offer numerous attractions with no height requirement, you will find the largest number of "toddler friendly" attractions at
Magic Kingdom. Some of my boys' "toddler day" favorites included Dumbo the Flying Elephant, The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh, Pirates of the Caribbean and Peter Pan's Flight. You can find a handy guide for attraction height requirements by visiting the
Disney Help Center- Frequently Asked Questions.
Besides the long list of attractions your toddler can enjoy, there are plenty of toddler friendly activities throughout the theme parks and resorts. This includes
For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration,
Turtle Talk With Crush,
Festival of the Lion King,
Mickey's Celebration Cavalcade, and of course time to
meet your child's favorite Disney Pal or Princess. Don't forget to have that camera ready to capture these priceless memories, and remember to schedule some down time at the resort. I promise even mom and dad will appreciate a chance to recharge their batteries.
I hope this helps make you and your toddlers trip even more magical. If I can help with any additional planning tips,
please stop back and see me.
I hope to see ya again real soon!
Margaret
