At Ridemakerz, how many of each and what type of batteries are needed for both the car and remote control? I know there's a rechargeable battery as an option as well.

Hi Shanon! My son really enjoyed building a car at Ridemakerz. I think my husband enjoyed it even more!

You'll need one 9-volt battery for the remote control. For the car, you'll need four AA batteries for the street chassis; a monster chassis takes six. Instead of the AA batteries, we purchased the rechargeable battery for the car -- it normally costs $20 for the car ($24 for the monster), but when we were there last month, the rechargeable batteries were on sale for half-price. (On the Ridemakerz website, the sale appears to be continuing.) The rechargeable battery is supposed to make the car go faster than the AA batteries.

Hope this helps! Have a great time!
