Hi Katherine!
Welcome back to
planDisney! Fellow mom of 3 here, and I’m so happy to help you out!
My boys love
Tomorrowland Speedway, so it’s always a must-do for us. But we’re in the same boat, where none of our kids are tall enough to ride alone just yet. Here’s how to make it work with 3 kiddos in my experience:
We split up into two groups. I usually ride with two of our kids, and my husband rides with one. When the group of 3 makes it to the point of the queue when the Cast Member directs you to your ride vehicle, let them know that both of your kids would love to have a chance to be the driver.
They’ll stick a special flag on your race car to indicate that you’ll be able to take two laps around Tomorrowland Speedway! After you race around for your first lap, the Cast Member will allow your kids to switch seats and immediately go around a second time. That way, both kids get to do the most fun part – driving! – and you won’t have to wait in the queue twice.
As you exit that ride, you’ll see one of my boys’ all-time favorite Disney souvenirs: a Tomorrowland Speedway driver’s license complete with a photo of themselves on the card. I think it’s the most affordable souvenir we’ve ever purchased at Disney, and it’s stood the test of time. My boys still play with them over two years later!
Well, it looks like your trip is right around the corner, so I’ll let you get to all of that
packing and last-minute preparations. Have the BEST trip!
