How do I ride Soarin’ during the AP preview days.

Welcome to planDisney, Dawn. I'll be your chief flight attendant today, so store your carry-on items in the underseat compartment, and let's talk all things Soarin' Across America at EPCOT!

In honor of our nation's 250th anniversary, Soarin' is getting a patriotic overlay to celebrate America. The new version will debut to the public on May 26, but Annual Passholders have the opportunity to take a sneak preview this week.

On May 19 and 20, guests with an active Annual Pass can join the standby queue to ride Soarin' Across America. Since regular visitors cannot join the line, I'm hoping the wait times won't be too long. My husband and I plan to experience the attraction on May 20, so maybe we'll see you there!

Be sure to have your Annual Pass and a photo ID when you join the standby queue. You might also need a theme park reservation if you plan to enter EPCOT before 2:00 PM.

Disney Cast Members recently previewed the new version, so I've seen some spoilers. I won't share here in case you want to be surprised, but the scenes shot across the United States look spectacular; they make me proud to be an American!

I don't know if you're a fan of Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, but the new version starring the Muppets debuts to passholders May 21, 22, and 23. I'll be honest; I've only ridden this high-speed attraction once, and that was decades ago when the theme featured Aerosmith. But I'm working up my nerve to check it out! This preview will offer virtual queues for passholders; you can read more about how and when to join those on the Passholder Offers page.

Dawn, soon we'll be airborne and enjoying our beautiful country from the sky. I hope you enjoy the ride, and please stop by planDisney anytime. Let's see, have I forgotten anything? Oh yeah. Have a nice flight!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
