Can you just take a ride on the skyliner for the view? We are staying at the Dolphin hotel but the kids really want to take a ride on skyliner.

    Hi Amy!

I'm a huge fan of the Disney Skyliner! I think I like it even better than the Monorail! Like you and I, many guests are really enjoying the Disney Skyliner.

The Disney Skyliner is a complimentary mode of transportation that is free for guests traveling to parks and resorts. You and your family can enjoy a ride through the skies to take in both the great aerial views and to travel to EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios or one of the resorts served by the Disney Skyliner. In fact, it may be a quick and easy way to travel from Disney's Hollywood Studios back to your resort. Simply board the Disney Skyliner, head over to EPCOT and then walk along the Boardwalk on your way to the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel.

In general, the hours for the Disney Skyliner mimic those of both EPCOT and/or Disney's Hollywood Studios. The gondolas start about 30 to 60 minutes prior to park opening and continue to run until the parks are closed for the evening.

While you're traveling the skies, keep your eyes peeled for your favorite Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars characters. They decorate the different gondolas so you may be able to catch a glimpse of Mickey and Minnie or even C-3P0 and R2D2!

I hope you have a magical trip!
