Can you ride the skyliner if you have a ECV ?

Welcome to planDisney, James!  We are glad you brought your question to us today.

I am a huge fan of the Disney Skyliner, so much so that access to the Skyliner transportation system is a primary factor in my decision when choosing a Disney Resort Hotel for my vacation.

The Disney Skyliner makes it so quick and easy to travel to Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT.  I love gliding along to my destination -- the journey is so relaxing, and the views are incredible!

I am happy to let you know that the Disney Skyliner is wheelchair and ECV accessible.  There is a separate loading area for Guests with mobility devices (or any Guest who needs extra time to board) with stationary gondolas.  If you are not sure where to find the accessible loading platform, ask a helpful Cast Member at the station.  Guests can simply drive an ECV right into the gondola and remain in the ECV or transfer to the bench seat.  It is fascinating to watch how the accessible gondolas then seamlessly join the main line.

I hope that helps!  Please feel free to stop by planDisney again with any additional questions you may have.  Enjoy your visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
