Can you ride the buses from your resort if you haven’t checked in yet at Disney World?

Hello there, Bradi! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking this opportunity to reach back out and ask another wonderful Walt Disney World Resort question!

I love how convenient Walt Disney World Resort makes transportation for all of their Guests! As a frequent out-of-state visitor, I often exclusively utilize Disney Transportation instead of renting a car. This strategy saves me time at the airport and reduces the amount of money I have to spend!

The official check-in time at the majority of Disney Resort hotels is 3:00 pm. You and your family are welcome to use Disney Transportation prior to your "official" check-in! In fact, Disney Transportation is complimentary for all Guests so you don't even have to be staying at a Disney Resort hotel to utilize it!

If you are looking to save time at check-in, I also recommend taking advantage of the Online Check-In feature through your My Disney Experience account! This process will actually allow you to completely bypass the front desk and get onto your adventures even sooner! Once you receive the notification that your room is ready, simply head to your new home and use your MagicBand or the My Disney Experience app to unlock your door.

I hope you and your family have a magical time visiting Walt Disney World Resort! Please be sure to let us know if we can answer any other questions for you!
