    What is rhino day? Is a special ticket needed. Do we need to sign up in advance? Thanks.

    Hi, Julie!  Rhino Day, which will be celebrated on November 12th this year at Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park, is part of a year long series of special events designed to keep us humans in touch with our animal brothers and sisters.  There is no special ticket or advanced sign up, but if you are at Animal Kingdom that day, you'll find special tables set up with educational information and hands on activities related to the Rhinoceros.  

    Previous events on other special animal celebration days have included educational opportunities with some of the animal experts at the theme park, an opportunity to feel what a particular animal may feel like, craft activities, and other similar type of opportunities.  It's just a little bonus to your day at Animal Kingdom.
