Can you reuse magic bands during your Make-a-wish trip? I have 2 from previous trips that we would like to use.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Marilyn!

You may certainly reuse MagicBands from a previous visit to Walt Disney World Resort. If you’ll be staying at an official Walt Disney World Resort hotel during your upcoming visit, though, you will have the opportunity to receive new, complimentary solid-color MagicBands, or you may choose to upgrade to a designed or special edition MagicBand  at a reduced cost.

As Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholders, we have the fortune of visiting Walt Disney World Resort frequently, and we tend to pick up new MagicBands with each trip.  You can have multiple MagicBands connected with each Guest in your My Disney Experience profile, so we like to swap ours out during each day of our vacation. You are definitely welcome to do the same.

I hope you have lots of Pixie-dusted moments during your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation, Marilyn. Please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help make it even more Magical.

We hope to see you real soon,
    Amy

Hiya, pals! I'm Amy from South Carolina. I'm married to my Disney-loving best friend, and together we've raised two princes and a princess. Whether I'm teaching my high school journalism students, planning Disney Bounding outfits with my daughter, or researching which new adventures we'll encounter on our next Walt Disney World Resort vacation, I find a way to incorporate a little Disney magic into everything I do. I look forward to helping you discover the magic, too!  Learn More About Amy
