Hey there Jennifer,
It's great to have you back with another planning question! I'm sorry to hear you've been having trouble linking your
MagicBand+ for use at
Disneyland Resort. I was in your shoes just a few months back and wanted to link my MagicBand+ from my recent Walt Disney World Resort visit for use on the west coast. I was able to get things sorted out but I first had to make some changes in my phone's Bluetooth settings. Let's see if we can get your tech dilemma resolved using the same method.
First and foremost, be sure your band is fully charged. Next, open up your phone's Bluetooth settings and locate your MagicBand+ on the list of paired devices. From here select the option to "Forget This Device" (you may need to tap the info icon to bring this up). Once your MagicBand+ is removed from the list of paired devices open your
Disneyland App and tap the feature menu (≡) at the bottom right of your screen. Select the MagicBand+ icon at the top of this screen, and click the "+" button to try pairing your band using one of the 3 methods you previously attempted. I'm hoping you'll have more success once it's been unpaired from your phone first.
You can follow the same steps once it's time to pair back with your My Disney Experience App for your next visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Just be sure not to deactivate the band from either of the apps. Mine always shows as an option for use on both coasts, I just need to adjust the Bluetooth settings to switch between the apps depending on where I'll be making magical memories for that particular trip.
If you are still having trouble getting things set up take a look at the
troubleshooting tips mentioned on the support page. You can also
reach out to a Cast Member via chat or phone for additional assistance.
As you're exploring Disneyland Resort be sure to stop in for a visit at
Mickey's Toontown. It's been recently re-vamped with lots of areas for relaxation when you need to rest those feet!
Wishing you magical memories,
Amy
