Hey Ronda!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom Panel! Your daughter must be so excited to compete at ESPN Wide World of Sports and celebrate her birthday at Walt Disney World!!!
Walt Disney World has so many fun and interesting places for groups to celebrate. A great idea, which doesn't require too much pre-planning (or park tickets), is dinner at
Captain Cook's at Disney's Polynesian Resort. It is a quick service restaurant so no reservations are necessary. There is plenty of seating on the patio just outside the restaurant to enjoy your meal in the lush South Seas-themed garden. When you have finished your meal grab a Dole Whip and stroll down to the beach for a great view of the Electrical Water Pageant and Wishes Nighttime Fireworks Spectacular. To make the celebration extra special for your daughter you could also pre-order a custom birthday cake via the Cake Hotline at (407) 827-2253.
Another fabulous place to celebrate is Downtown Disney's
Splitsville Luxury Lanes. They have great food and a fun atmosphere which is perfect after a long day of competition.
If you have your heart set on a particular table service experience stop by the
Welcome Center at Wide World of Sports located near the ESPN Grill. They have an amazing group of cast members who can work magic to find you a reservation which will create lasting memories for the whole team.
I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any other questions please come back and see me.
Wishing you a magical Disney sports vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
