Welcome aboard, Laura! And welcome back from a fabulous sailing with Disney to Alaska! I can only imagine that you had a magical and memorable vacation!
I'm sorry to tell you that Disney Cruise Line's photos are only available while onboard the ship. Your photos are not able to be viewed once you disembark. It is a different service than what you may be used to with the traditional Disney PhotoPass service you'd find in the parks. Guests onboard the ships visit Shutters throughout their sailing to view their family's photo album and make any purchases onboard. Unfortunately, after the cruise, the photos are no longer viewable.
However, you are not completely out of luck, as the photography team keeps the photos for about six weeks after each sailing, and you may send in a specific request for a few photos that you remember viewing in Shutters onboard. As you mentioned, there is a link from
Disney Cruise Line's Photography page to the My Cruise Photos website, the ship's photography service. On the main page of My Cruise Photo's site, click on "I don't see my sail date" (since it only lists sail dates coming up for pre-purchase photo packages). Then, click on "I returned from my cruise and need technical assistance". Finally, follow the link to "I just sailed and forgot to purchase photos". There you can fill out the request form.
I hope you were able to view your pictures onboard, Laura, and possibly remember a couple "must-have's" that you can describe to the company to purchase. If so, be sure to turn in that request online as soon as possible.
I'm sorry that wasn't the answer you were hoping for, Laura, but hopefully your family also took plenty of photos on your own camera throughout your voyage to remember all of the magic of your Alaskan sailing.
Good luck tracking down a few extra pictures!
