I just returned, before we left I moved all of my Rewards dollars to my redemption card, but we didn't use all of it. I have eligible purchases on my Visa that I could pay myself back. Amy I able to move the money back to use the credits?

Hello Amanda and welcome to planDisney!

We're happy you visited with your question today. I'm a big fan of the Disney Visa Card and the fun perks it includes. And those Disney Rewards Dollars are a great excuse to purchase all-the-magical-things from Disney! As a handy reminder, here's a list of all the locations where you can redeem your Disney Reward Dollars.

Amanda, unfortunately once you move your Disney Reward Dollars to a physical Disney Redemption Card, those funds can not be moved back into your rewards account. At that point, it's like a gift card. I double-checked on Disney Rewards Q & A and it confirms, "when Disney Rewards Dollars are loaded to a Redemption Card, you can no longer use them to redeem for a credit on your monthly statement using Pay Yourself Back®".

I'm sorry this wasn't the news you were hoping to hear. The good news is, Disney Rewards Dollars never expire. I know I end up making purchases online at the Disney Store between trips, when I need a little pixie-dusted pick me up to tide me over! Your Disney Redemption Card can be used as payment on purchases from this site.

Did you know you can also enter your Disney Redemption Card and use it as a form of payment inside your My Disney Experience app? My fellow panelist Allyn has some great instructions on how to add a Disney Redemption Card as a Payment Method in the app. Then it can be available to apply towards any app purchases, including things like Lightning Lane passes for your next trip.

Because Amanda... you know what this means. You're going to need to plan another magical trip to Walt Disney World! Yeee haawww!

I hope this helps, and that you are able to get another magical countdown on the books sometime soon. Please visit me at planDisney any time with your questions.

    Reach for the sky!
