We just returned home from our week at WDW and were able to get some autographs but missed getting Mickey and Pals to sign our picture frame mat. If I mail this to Disney would they sign it and mail back?

    Hey there, Jenn!

Welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad to hear you recently enjoyed a magical vacation at Walt Disney World Resort. I remember my own kids excitedly waiting to get character autographs on many past trips. It's always a fun way to add a little extra magic (and of course some warm hugs) into an already memorable day. We've collected quite a few signatures over the years but still have plenty of room for more in our memory book. And of course, new friends are continuously welcomed into the Disney family so I know we'll continue enjoying meet-and-greets for years to come. I can't wait to chat with Mirabel at Magic Kingdom Park on my upcoming January visit!

I love your idea to have a photo mat signed so you can frame a special picture from your vacation. I completely understand wanting to have as many characters' "John Hancock" on there as possible, but unfortunately, there isn't a program in place like you described. I reached out to a Cast Member who shared that they are unable to receive any items and return them with signatures at this time. I know this might be disappointing, but think of it as a magical to-do list or a fun little scavenger hunt for your next visit! You can bring the same photo mat back and see what additional characters you're able to track down. You'll be able to view the location and meeting times for all your favorite pals in the My Disney Experience App so be sure to make a game plan to collect the Fab 5 or anyone else on your wish list. You might also consider booking a Character Meal to meet a few friends all in one sitting.

If you don't have any future trips planned you can always ask a fellow Disney Parks-loving friend to take the mat along on their next trip, but I think it's more fun to meet Mickey and pals in person. Better yet, why not book a different Disney experience for your family to countdown towards? We've always had great luck meeting tons of characters with on our Disney Cruise Line vacations and typically always find the waits to be shorter than they are in the parks. Plus, unlimited soft serve, warm ocean breezes and beautiful sunsets, and amazing entertainment await onboard too! You can collect Captain Mickey's or Captain Minnie's signatures in between relaxing on the pool deck.

I'm sorry I don't have a more magical answer for you today, Jenn, but I hope this gives you some ideas. If we can answer any additional questions or offer other vacation planning recommendations please don't hesitate to come back and see us again.

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
