Check in at Disney's Animal Kingdom Resort

    I have just returned home from Disney. I have read that I can view all charges from my magic band under my Disney experience “my plans” however there is nothing there. Am I suppose to see the charges once I am home?

    Hi Sharon!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You can access your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel charges from My Disney Experience during your visit. It isn’t actually under “My Plans,” but rather under “Resort Hotel.” If you are in the My Disney Experience Mobile App, click the three horizontal bars in the lower right corner. This will open a menu with options such as “Tickets and Passes,” “Photos,” and there you’ll find “Resort Hotel.” Once this opens up with your resort reservation, you’ll see options to “Unlock Door,” and next to that you'll find “View Charges.” This is very handy during your visit to see what you or your family may have charged to the room. I like it as I can see what my teenagers have charged.

    While this information is viewable both before and while on your trip, I’m not sure how long that information stays available after your visit is over. I visited the Walt Disney World Resort about one month ago, and I can no longer view those charges in the My Disney Experience Mobile App, though I can see my room charges for my upcoming spring trip. You should have received an email, however, on your day of check-out, with your anticipated charges. I say anticipated because you can still make charges on your MagicBand until midnight of your check-out day and those items would still be added to your room charges after you received the email. My email came from “disneyresorts@disneyworld" on the day of my check-out, and I was also able to find it by searching my email for my resort name.
