We just returned from our first visit in October and already planning the next trip! We want to bring my mom, a paraplegic in her 50s, on the next trip. She's never been to WDW. What rides will allow her time to transfer from her wheelchair? Safari?Soarin?

Hi, Jessica!  How exciting that you are going to take your mom on her first visit to Walt Disney World!  I'm all giddy and smiling over here!  I love first trips, but first trips with your MOM are the best!!

Some of the attractions won't require her to transfer at all, so you're good to go on those things.  Anything that requires her to transfer will allow her sufficient time to do so.  There will be someone there to help expedite parking her wheelchair if that is necessary, and anyone in the family is allowed to assist her in getting comfortable in her seat on an attraction.  She will have plenty of time, so you shouldn't feel rushed at all.

I hope this is the most magical trip your family has ever taken!  Thank you so much for letting us help you with the planning!
