Louise,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
Unfortunately no, there is no way to walk from the
Disney Skyliner EPCOT station to the front of the park where would catch your bus if
EPCOT is closed. So what are you to do?
There is no simple way to get you to that shuttle bus that I can think of, so here is what I would consider doing.
Option 1: Bus to a ResortTake a bus from
Disney's Hollywood Studios to a nearby Disney resort. From there you could try to catch a bus to EPCOT. This is not a foolproof plan, as buses from a resort to EPCOT may have ceased for the night, depending on when EPCOT closed. Also, none of the resorts on the Skyliner route would have buses headed to EPCOT. If I chose this option, I would try to go to Old Key West or one of the Port Orleans resorts.
Option 2: Bus to Disney SpringsIf your resort hotel is in the
Disney Springs area, you might consider busing from Hollywood Studios to Disney Springs and then walking back to your hotel. Some hotels are just over 1/2 a mile walk (1 km) from the central bus stop at Disney Springs.
Option 3: TaxiI hate having to spend money to travel around Disney, but you may be stuck with the remaining option of grabbing a taxi or a Lyft/Uber to take you from Hollywood Studios to either the EPCOT bus area or all the way back to your hotel. To be candid, it is the only truly reliable option of the three.
I know that none of these are particularly simple or easy solutions, but they are the best options for you. If you
write me back with the name of the resort hotel, I could get you more ideas on the best options to get home at the end of a long park day.
Have a Magical Vacation!
