    How can I return to the Contemporary Hotel after Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party? In past years I took the monorail but I heard that the monorail will now close one hour after regular Magic Kingdom hours.

    Hi Pam! One of the best perks of the Contemporary Resort is its prime location right next to the Magic Kingdom! You can easily walk between the Magic Kingdom and the Contemporary -- the walk takes ten minutes or less, which can actually be quicker than taking the monorail.

    Although recent reports have stated that the monorail will stop running one hour after the Magic Kingdom closes, no announcement has been made with regard to the monorail run times on nights that Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are held. However, if the monorail is not running, guests will be transported back to their resorts via bus and boat.
