Howdy, Alejandra.
I'm always happy to rustle up an answer for a fellow Texan, so thanks for boot-scooting by planDisney today! It sounds like you just returned home from a magical Walt Disney World Resort adventure. You know, it’s never too early to
get that next trip on the books. Planning my next vacation always seems to help ease those post-Disney blues, so maybe it will help ease yours too.
I’m sorry to hear you missed the deadline to download your
Disney PhotoPass photos. I’ve been in your shoes before. Unfortunately, the Disney PhotoPass system is not capable of storing photos permanently, so they do indeed
expire 45 days from the date they were initially taken. Depending on how long it has been since the photos were taken, you may be eligible to purchase a one-time 15-day extension via the
Disney PhotoPass website. This extension will extend the expiration date of your photos to 60 days instead of 45 days. According to the expiration policy, only photos currently in your
My Disney Experience account will have the new expiration deadline, so I suggest giving the Disney PhotoPass help line a call at (407) 560-4300 before making that purchase to see if the photos you want to retrieve will qualify for that extension or not.
Alejandra, I hope this information proves helpful, but if you find yourself in need of further assistance, I would be happy to lasso up more answers for you. Have a magical day!
Happy trails to you,
Alyssa
