Hi! Retired USAF, usually buy tickets for MNSSHP from base. For 2019 was told to wait buy at booth even if party sold out. Called WDW twice, got different answers. Staying at FTW Camp for Halloween but want to go Nov 1 and book dessert party too. TIA!

Hello, Julia, and thanks for bringing another great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My husband is retired from the U.S. Air Force as well, and we are so grateful for the many ways Walt Disney World Resort salutes members of the U.S. Military. While there are discounted military tickets available for special ticketed events such as Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, the discounts are only applicable on certain dates. October 24, 2019 is the last Halloween Party with discounted military tickets this year, so if you want to attend on November 1 (the last Party of the year), you will need to purchase those tickets at full price.

If you will be at Walt Disney World Resort in time for the October 24 Party, though, you can purchase your discounted ticket through your local military base or through the Shades of Green ticket office. Contact Shades of Green for additional information about that option.

As for the Halloween Fireworks Dessert Party, you can book that with either Plaza Garden Viewing or Tomorrowland Terrace seating online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.

I hope you have a frightfully good time during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation this fall, Julia. Please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you as you plan.
