Hi, James!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your service! It sounds like you have a very special multigenerational vacation planned this fall. October is one of my family's favorite times to visit because of the BOO-tiful decor and festive fun planned for the season! It should be a SPOOK-tacular time for y'all!
James, you've asked a great question about the current Memory Maker discount offer for members of the military. I did a little research and have some helpful information to share with you so your crew can take advantage of this promotion on your upcoming visit. This offer began in January of this year and runs through December 19, 2017, so you are well within the eligibility window, and the pricing is quite a steal at $84.00! Your purchase of Memory Maker can only be in person by you or your spouse once you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort at one of the
Guest Relations locations. You'll find Guest Relations conveniently located at the entrances of all four theme parks and Disney Springs in the Town Center area at the Disney Springs Welcome Center. When you purchase a regular Memory Maker, you do have to purchase three days prior to the start of your vacation to have photos of your entire vacation included. This is not the case with the Military Memory Maker offer as it will be effective immediately upon purchase.
James, while you countdown to your stay at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, be sure all your children and grandchildren are linked to you in My Disney Experience. This way all your family's photos from attractions and Disney's PhotoPass photographers will be available to enjoy! It will be so nice to have everyone included in group photos because I know these pictures will be cherished for "minnie" yEARs to come! And don't forget to ask about those special "Magic shots!"
