Retired married couple looking for a Value Resort Hotel near EPCOT and Animal Kingdom. Which would suggest?

    Hi Phil,

All of the Value Resorts are closer to Animal Kingdom than EPCOT. The map attached shows you where all of the resorts are located in relation to the parks.

I stayed in the All Star Sports last September and was surprised how nice it was. I am a Disney Vacation Club member so I usually stay in one of the vacation homes but decide to use my Disney Reward points to pay for a quick weekend.

I have to say the rooms were only slightly (two people would hardly notice) smaller than Vacation Club studios, the decorations not as colorful but still very nice, and the amenities were great. Even under construction, the lobby was clean and the food court had all the extras the Grand Floridian had!

Major difference was I was always on a bus between the resort and the parks, and the lines were longer for the bus (remember only one mode of transportation from these spots). In addition, the travel time was slightly more than a moderate or deluxe but again for two traveling adults not a difference.

I think any of the All Stars would suit your needs so pick the one that suits your personalities!

Enjoy a magical trip for two!
