We have resv @9 @Crystal Palace. If we check into a Disney resort later, is it best to park at the resort & catch transport or drive & park? How do we get in early to make 9am and how long approx will it take from parking lot to make reservation?

Hi, Jennifer! I am so glad you stopped by to chat with us about your first day at Walt Disney World Resort! That first day is always so magical - the sights, the sounds, the smells. It is just pixie dust overload! The first day can also be hectic with resort check-in, unpacking, and figuring out transportation. I really like your idea of putting off the unpacking business and instead, heading straight to the magic!

I really think you will enjoy The Crystal Palace that morning! It is honestly my favorite breakfast buffet. Be sure to stop by the kid's section of the buffet and pile your plate full of Pooh's Puffed French Toast. It is so incredibly delicious and is now putting a rumbly in my tumbly! The morning you head to The Crystal Palace, I think your best option is to just drive straight to the Magic Kingdom parking lot. This will all take a good hour, so be sure to give yourself plenty of time before your reservation. Once parked, you can either walk or ride a tram to the Transportation and Ticket Center. After going through the security checkpoint, you can either ride the ferry across Seven Seas Lagoon or go around it via monorail. There will be a designated area to the left of the park's entrance for guests with breakfast reservations. Magic Kingdom Park regularly opens Main Street, U.S.A., well in advance of the official opening so guests can shop and grab breakfast at Quick Service locations in that area. When you head to that left-side entrance, the Cast Members will direct you to The Crystal Palace.

I hope you have a magical beginning to your pixie-dusted adventures! Please let us know if you have any other questions!
