I see some restuarants have a cancellation policy lisetd with their description. For those who don't list a policy -there is no penalty for a cancellation or a no show?

Hello Jen!  The new reservation cancellation policy went into effect on October 26, 2011 and includes many of the Signature dining restaurants as well as some of the more popular Table service restaurants.  There are those restaurants that require a credit card guarantee, and those that require full pre-payment.  In the event that you are a no-show, the penalty for the credit card guarantee booking is $10 per person reserved.  In the event that you cannot make your reservation for the pre-payment reservation, the full cost per person will be assessed.  You are correct in that those that do not list a cancellation policy do not require a credit card guarantee, nor will a penalty charge be held in the event that you cannot attend.  A full list of these restaurants can be found at the independent website Allears.net.
