Ahoy, Bob!
According to the Disney Cruise Line
website, the AquaDuck has a few restrictions:
•AquaDuck is designed for adults and children at least 42" or taller
•Single riders must be at least 54" or taller
•Children under 7 must ride with someone 14 years of age or older, provided the child is at least 42" tall
•No snorkel equipment or swim goggles are allowed in the pool
I have had experience riding the
AquaDuck on both the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy, and it seems that the rules about water shoes tends to be that they are allowed if they will actually stay on your feet. Flip flops are not allowed, nor are sunglasses. If you wear eyeglasses to see, you should wear those and NOT prescription sunglasses, and regular glasses are usually allowed.
I hope this helps with the planning for your amazing cruise on the gorgeous Disney Fantasy! Please let us know if you have more questions prior to your August embarkation.
Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
