    Hello, are there any restrictions on what I can use a Disney gift card on/what I can pay with a gift card while on a Disney cruise? Thank you!

    Hi there, Spencer,

    I am a diehard Disney Gift Card fan, especially for paying for our Disney cruises. Many things on your cruise are complimentary, including soft serve ice cream, self-serve soft drinks, and, of course, your rotational dining experience. For the extras you may wish to enjoy, such as Port Adventures, specialty beverages, and souvenirs, I like using Disney Gift Cards. Your entire experience onboard your Disney cruise ship and even at most locations at Disney's exclusive island destinations is cashless. You will enjoy the convenience of simply presenting your Key to the World card or your DisneyBand+ to charge purchases to your stateroom folio (onboard account).

    As my planDisney pal Jen suggests, you may pre-purchase onboard credit using a Disney Gift Card. Or you may visit Guest Services on your ship to make payments to your account using a Disney Gift Card or other method of payment. Disney Gift Cards are also accepted at most onboard shops to pay at the registers. But even there, I personally prefer to use my DisneyBand+ so I can avoid carrying around my wallet and gift cards.
