Happy Holidays, Judith!
I'm so happy to welcome you to planDisney! I can only imagine how excited you must be as you count down to your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth...especially since you'll be arriving on Christmas Day. What an incredible and truly special way to celebrate
the holidays! Between the festive decorations, cheerful music, and all the seasonal magic in the air, you're in for a holly jolly experience. With just two sleeps to go before the fun begins, let's jump right in and take a look at your question so we can help make your holiday visit even more magical.
It's wonderful to hear that you already have your
theme park reservation set for EPCOT...what a great start to your day! I also have some happy news to share. As an
Annual Passholder, once you've scanned into EPCOT, you're welcome to hop over to Magic Kingdom at any time, without needing to wait until 2:00 PM. That later park hopping time only applies on Saturdays and Sundays when hopping to Magic Kingdom.
Just keep in mind that entry to Magic Kingdom is always subject to availability. Since it is Christmas Day, there's a possibility that the park could reach capacity and temporarily pause entry.
I took a peek at the
Hours & Events Calendar for Christmas Day, and here's what you can look forward to at Magic Kingdom.
Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is currently scheduled for 12:00 PM and again at 3:00 PM, while
Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks will light up the sky at 8:30 PM. Disney's new nighttime parade,
Starlight, is planned for both 7:00 PM and 9:45 PM. If your schedule allows, I'd suggest catching the later parade, as crowds are usually a bit lighter for the second showing.
Judith, to help your day flow a little more smoothly, I highly recommend taking advantage of
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering through the
My Disney Experience app when you want to grab a bite to eat. This convenient feature lets you browse menus, customize your order, and choose a pickup window right from your phone, helping you skip the standby line and save valuable park time. It's an easy way to keep everyone fueled and focused on enjoying the magic.
I hope this information is helpful as you continue planning your Christmas Day at Disney World! If any other questions pop up along the way, please know that you're always welcome to duck back here and visit us at planDisney!
Merry Wishes
